The Prodigy Audio NB5 15" Subwoofer is a high-performance sub designed to handle serious bass with 1200 watts RMS of raw power. This competition-grade woofer features a 2.75” flat aluminum voice coil wound for maximum thermal stability and output, with a massive 27mm of one-way Xmax at 70% BL for impressive excursion and ultra-clean low-frequency performance.

A vented motor structure loaded with 280 oz of ferrite magnet mass, combined with a large inner pole and Faraday shorting rings, drastically reduces distortion from inductance—ensuring tight, controlled bass even at high volume. The heavy-duty cast aluminum frame acts as a heat sink, pulling excess heat away from the motor during long sessions, while the Nomex spider system, stitched tinsel leads, and treated paper cone deliver strength, responsiveness, and longevity.
