Prodigy Audio NB5 8" Subwoofer | 800W RMS – Compact Power with Premium Performance
Small Size. Serious Output.
The Prodigy Audio NB5 8" Subwoofer delivers powerful bass in a compact form, making it the perfect solution for tight-space installs without sacrificing output. Rated at 800 watts RMS, this subwoofer features a 2.5" flat aluminum voice coil and delivers 15mm of linear Xmax at 70% BL for hard-hitting lows that remain clean and controlled.
The NB5-8 features a precision-engineered motor structure with 180 ounces of ferrite magnet, dual Faraday shorting rings, and a vented pole with radial cooling vents—ensuring thermal stability and minimal distortion. The motor is mated to a rugged cast aluminum frame, designed not only for durability but also to dissipate heat during heavy use.
With its treated paper cone, heavy foam surround, and extreme-duty Nomex spider, the NB5 8" is built to take abuse and keep delivering tight, accurate bass, whether you're building a punchy daily driver or a compact SPL demo box.
