PRV Audio’s ALTO Series was carefully crafted and voiced to deliver a natural, smooth sound while maintaining dynamic performance. To achieve superior fidelity, a special composite cone is used to smooth frequency response and keep the moving mass low, enhancing efficiency. Meet the new and improved version of the 10W650A.

Key improvements include:

- New basket design reduces mounting depth from 4.33″ to 3.90″
- Enhanced output with a +1 dB gain in low-frequency response
- Improved vocal response from 350 Hz to 4000 Hz
- Increased voice coil winding for better power handling and a raised Xmax to 5.72 mm

This midrange was designed to enhance vocal response where the 10W650A lacked output, without sacrificing any midbass.

With these new features, the 10MR650A is capable of high output and low distortion, making it perfect for filling in the crucial midrange in any high-output sound system. A great addition to the ALTO Series!

- 2.5″ CCAW voice coil wound on a glass fiber former, 8 Ohm
- Vented pole piece dissipates excess heat to reduce power compression

The new 10MR650A from the ALTO Series offers everything you need in a midrange pro audio loudspeaker. Designed with a compact and versatile footprint, it features a mounting depth of just 3.90” without compromising performance. This midrange is ideal as a door speaker in car audio systems or as a low-frequency driver in a two-way satellite speaker setup.

A popular setup for large systems is pairing the 10MR650A with the WG2000Py SLIM Mids and Highs compression horn driver. Use one horn driver for every two speakers, all tuned with our digital sound processor to ensure seamless integration. Recommended settings are:

• 10MR650A: High Pass Filter (HPF) at 120 Hz BT18, Low Pass Filter (LPF) at 2200 Hz BT12
• Compression Driver: Covers from 1000 Hz to 17,000 Hz

For optimal performance, we recommend using 8x 10MR650A with 4x WG2000Py SLIM.
