The WG270Ph is a new addition to the 1” Exit phenolic family, featuring the upgraded D270Ph-S 1″ exit phenolic driver paired with the WG11-25 compact 60° x 60° exponential horn.

This combination delivers high output and low distortion vocal reproduction down to 500 Hz, making it an ideal solution for high-output PA systems and PRO audio on wheels setups.

The phenolic diaphragm delivers exceptional clarity in the critical midrange and vocal frequencies. Its compact driver design allows for easy front-mount installation.

Building on the advancements of our D250Ph-S, this new and improved model is ideal for midrange and vocal reinforcement. The compact horn size makes it perfect for situations where space is limited.

The voice coil is wound with high-temperature copper wire on a Kapton former, allowing it to endure high operating temperatures. The nearly indestructible phenolic diaphragm (RPD270Ph), capable of reproducing frequencies down to 500 Hz, is designed to withstand the elements, making it ideal for outdoor use.

The compact driver design facilitates easy front-mount installation. Building on the D250Ph-S, this more compact model was developed to meet market demands. Its small diameter enables straightforward front mounting, allowing installation without the need to detach the driver from the horn. 

Engineered to deliver the crucial vocal range with impressive authority, this midrange compression driver and horn combo is an excellent choice for high-power public address (PA) systems, small venues, and gymnasiums. Car audio SPL enthusiasts also use this setup for effective vocal reinforcement in 3-way systems.

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS

*Nominal power handling refers to the maximum RMS power the speaker can endure during a 2-hour test with pink noise and a 6dB crest factor, using a bandpass filter with a 12dB/oct slope within its usable frequency range.

**Continuous Program Power (RMS) is the maximum power the speaker can handle during regular musical programs when using our recommended filters. This rating helps determine the optimal amplifier power needed to deliver a clean, unclipped signal.

***Max Peak Power is the highest power level the speaker can handle briefly, typically encountered during musical peaks. Prolonged exposure to this power level can damage the speaker.
