Resilient Sounds Platinum v2 15" D2 Subwoofer | 2500W RMS
After purchasing 2 Resilient Sounds Platinum V2 D2 and receiving them, I unboxed both. I found small scuff marks on the surround(s) and also noticed that one terminal on each sub was loose. Not too much of a problem, I simply just tightened the screw holding them to the basket. They seem to work great until about 5 months later I noticed my dB's seemed to be lower than normal. I checked my impedance on both subs and found out one was not ohming out right. I had to take the subs out and found that one of the tabs that are soldered to the tinsel leads and onto the terminals had cracked. I tried to solder it but it was just not enough space for me to work with and I couldn't do it properly. So I just ran 1 coil on that specific sub. I still competed but wasn't reaching my highest potential as before. I'm still happy with the performance of the subs but now I have to purchase a recone for at least this one. I have videos and pics of the unboxing as well as the broken tab. That's why I only rated 4 stars out of 5!
