Depth restrictions are no match for the SD-4 series. By removing the pole vent, Sundown designed the motor to sit flush against the back of the enclosure, eliminating wasted clearance. Paired with the newly tooled “W” foam surround, the SD-4 reduces the required front clearance, effectively cutting depth requirements by nearly 2 inches compared to most traditional shallow subs.
