Featuring Sundown’s patented mega platform frame design and the largest motor ever used on a Z series subwoofer, the Zv7 18 D1 is capable of delivering crushing bass with incredibly low distortion.

At the heart of the Zv7 18 is a massive quad stacked 265mm motor structure paired with a hyper extended pole and extreme mechanical clearances. This allows over 4 inches peak to peak travel before bottoming, creating a nearly bottomless suspension feel during heavy excursion.

The Sundown Audio Zv7 18 also features a 3.3 inch 4 layer round wire aluminum voice coil wound with Sundown’s proprietary fat wire winding method. This advanced coil design dramatically improves thermal handling and durability under extreme power levels.

Cooling performance has also been heavily upgraded with a patent pending airflow directing pole cap, six pole channels, sixteen gap vents, and a cross drilled top plate system that keeps temperatures under control during aggressive demos and competition use.
